Marketing Academy returns this month on the 5th and the 6th of March! The academy has changed from past years to ensure that we enable you to share your brand and your chamber even more effectively and efficiently.

So what’s changed? First off  the Academy has been given a whole new lease of life with a whole new look as can be seen with a sleeker design for the banners and posters for the academy.

Secondly with thanks to fellow National Board members Ben Hawley and Katie Jackson, both of whom are marketing experts, we have overhauled the training schedule and syllabus to make it even more relevant to members. The training for the academy has been put together in a style that is both informative, interactive and functional. From looking back at the past years of the academy and looking forward we chose the points of marketing that we think are vital for brands and businesses both JCI related and unrelated. With the training syllabus spanning blogging, social media, websites, video and photos, strategies and more we aim to cover all bases. We also have Personal Development Director James Lambert working on the administration side and budget side! What a team!

The weekend isn’t simply for JCI members or Marketing Directors. The training will be useful no matter what your marketing knowledge or background or experience. The digital world is ever evolving and if we don’t use the tools we have at our disposal effectively no matter how big or small the business or organization it runs the risk of being left out and eventually forgotten. Part of JCI or not, the skills and knowledge you will receive during the weekend will be valuable to all businesses and organizations.

As Marketing Director for JCI UK this year, I want to ensure that this academy becomes one that people continue to talk about long after they graduate and recommend to their peers for the brilliant experience they had.

For only £59 (JCI members) and £149 (non members) for two full days of training including your food for both days it’s a bargain! The venue for the academy is the BPP in Birmingham enabling people from around the UK access to this stunning location. All you have to do is arrange your travel and accommodation. The hotels we recommend is The Royal Angus at a price of £80 per room for the two nights (based on two people sharing)! The hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the academy venue with brilliant rooms and facilities too.

I hope to see you all there at what promises to be a JCI UK Marketing Academy like no other. Come along and meet, share, grow and develop with us at this years Marketing Academy!

Places are lling up fast so don’t hestitate to get your place!
