We’re nothing without our members. In fact, without our members, we don’t exist.
A focus on membership will be a large part of the 2018 plan, but not just on recruitment, but also on engagement and retention of members. The Membership Director will be working with local chambers to advise them how to engage the current members they have, get new members off to the right start and how to engage members who have been in the organisation for a few years and are ready for a new challenge. This will involve working to develop the Pathways programme, advising on how to make events appealing to new and existing members and working with the National Marketing team, look at ways to continually improve the sign up process and experience of our members.
There is admin involved with the role as well. The membership director will be working with the National Secretariat to make sure the membership database is accurate.
