JCI UK are thrilled to announce that our new legacy storage unit is in full operation.

National President Michael Steel explains:

“During my membership of JCI UK, I have had real joy in finding out how the organisation has evolved over the years and indeed over the decades. Members from chambers right across the UK have many stories to tell regarding projects, events and development opportunities which they have taken part in. Along with these stories, items of particular interest have been acquired along the way and have been kept by members for safe keeping.

In partnership with storage organisation Lok’ nStore, JCI UK now have a safe place to store such items for future members and generations to see and enjoy. I would like to personally thank members and senators who have safeguarded these items over the years – not all the items I have been told are small and have taken up spare rooms, lofts and garages!

Over the coming weeks and months, the JCI UK National Board will be collecting these items and placing in our new storage unit at Lok’ nStore in Reading.

If you are a member, senator, alumni or past member and have something of interest you’d like to enter into our legacy storage unit – we’d love to hear from you.”

Steven Wells, Regional Operations Manager added:

“At Lok’ nStore, we work with a number of organisations large and small who wish to store all types of items in our units. Within our Corporate Social Responsibility commitment we love to support voluntary organisations such as JCI UK who would like to bring together items for historical value. We are proud to play a small part in this process with JCI UK.”
