I wouldn't call myself technology phobic at all, but I would not say I was an early adopter. I need to be confident that something will be worth my time and add value to my world. Over the last few weeks I have discovered the wonders of Twitter. I had no idea how so much information and utter nonsense could entertain me.

I have no desire to know what any celebrity had for lunch but have found that there are some pretty interesting people out there who aren't known for their drunken antics or plastic surgeries. I think the biggest impact for me has been learning about trends and gaining helpful tips relating to my job and keeping abreast of events happening in Portsmouth.

I currently have a project I am trying to launch and it's almost like Twitter knows what sort of articles would be helpful to me. I have read more in the last few weeks than in the last few years. It's also great to see how passionate people are about Portsmouth and making a positive impact. While I am still finding my way around Twitter, I think I may be a fan. Who knew?
