On a rather changeable August evening JCI Southampton hosted its first Summer Charity Event on Southampton Common. 

Over 35 people joined the JCI team on 22nd August to participate in a fun rounders tournament & an American-style BBQ.  No matter what the weather threw at the event (from warm sunny evening to heaving rain), everyone had great fun - throwing themselves (quite literally in some cases) into the spirit of competition, enjoying the picnic & raising £134 for Gift of Sight, our nominated charity for 2012.

Such was the success of the evening, this should now become an annual event.  So get those rounders practice sessions in & join us for more summer fun next year!
