The first event took place on 25 October at Leaf on Bold Street, Liverpool (see photographs below), and the next one is scheduled for 29 November 2012. Those wishing to attend can sign up for the events, athttp://liverpoolnetworking.eventbrite.com.

About JCI Liverpool JCI Liverpool is part of Junior Chamber International, a global network of young professionals, present in more than 100 countries with almost 200,000 members across the world, offering its members opportunities in networking, training and volunteer work. JCI Liverpool (then known as Liverpool Junior of Commerce) was active in Liverpool in the 1970s. One of the Chamber’s most important projects was the first Liverpool Lord Mayor’s Parade in 1972, which became an important annual event, and ran for almost 40 years.
Unfortunately, JCI Liverpool was disbanded in the 1990s. However, the time is right for JCI Liverpool to make a comeback. The city of Liverpool seems more vibrant than ever and presents a perfect environment for a Junior Chamber International and for young professionals eager to make a difference. The Chamber was re-established in November 2011 under the leadership of Kai Graf von Pahlen, Solicitor at Hill Dickinson.
JCI Liverpool’s Board of Directors now includes:
Carla Jane Burns, HR Business Partner, NHS
Emma Turner, HR Business Partner, NHS
Kartik Rajput, Business Specialist, HSBC
Jenny Norris, Solicitor, Hill Dickinson
Stuart Southern, Chief Technology Officer, Quote Shed
Habeeb Yusuf, formerly president of JCI Nigeria (Lagos State Polytechnic)
