JCI UKs Newest Up and Coming Trainers

Having recently graduated from JCI Designer at European Conference in Tarragona I couldn’t wait to be Assistant Trainer for the first time for JCI Trainer.  The course took place in Sheffield over the weekend of 25th and 26th June.  Alongside JCI Head Trainer Adam Woodhall I had the privilege of training 8 up and coming JCI Trainers.  There were members from Sheffield, Doncaster and London attending for what was an amazing weekend and both Adam and I were impressed by the energy and enthusiasm in the room and the level of the work that was produced.  JCI Trainer is an official JCI course which takes the presentation skills learnt in JCI Presenter to a higher level and teaches would be trainers the key skills for training adults.  The course acts as the start of a JCI training career and I am sure that some of the participants that attended will be future JCI trainers.  The next step will be for the graduates to try and clock up 25 training hours in different local organisations in order to become Certified Local Trainers.

James  Alcock of JCI Sheffield gave the following feedback after the weekend:

“It's courses like that that make you really think about what JCI is and how far it can reach and what, individually and collectively, we can achieve!”
