It was a great training session with a lot to cover just in two hours! Mo Hartford was a great trainer and a very inspiring and energetic person to be around!
We covered a lot during the session including, how to and how not to enter business networking sessions, how to find networking events and how to judge them, how to effectively do a 60 second pitch, and even how to politely leave some a conversation if they are chewing your ear off.
All of this was this was topped off with a whistle stop tour of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) based on body language, how to conduct yourself and how your posture can effect not only how you feel about yourself but how others around you see you as well.
We brushed on the different networking events in the Birmingham area including Business Network International (BNI) and Business Over Breakfast. Your research should always be conducted around each networking event you are looking to attend to make sure that it is the type of event that you want to attend and the type of people you want to meet will be there!
The session was great fun, lots of jumping around and positive energy enjoyed with some great people! I look forward to meeting Mo again in the future at one of the many networking events around Birmingham!
