A reminder that we are holding our National Council Handover Meeting on Saturday, 28 November, at The Barn, Birmingham (Senator Claire Ashton House). This event is for the 2026 National Council and the elected 2027 National Council. As a reminder, the National Council consists of all National Board members & Local Presidents.

With the 2027 National Board elections taking place on 18 November, and Local Board elections happening in early November too, we want to ensure everyone has this date in their diaries.

This is our last official National Board event of the year, and it’s going to be a good one! It will be a great opportunity to celebrate everything we’ve achieved in 2026, learn from one another, and enjoy a fun, practical and engaging handover into the new year. We’ll also be making the annual capitation payments at the event.

Lauren will share the full agenda will follow soon (lunch will be provided!), but we’re planning a fun day to wrap up the year and set the incoming team up for success.

It is really important that we all attend. So far, we have only received apologies from Sasha and Georgia, who are out of the country. Please let us know as soon as possible if you’re unable to attend, so we can plan accordingly.
