JCI Sheffield Annual Dinner 2011
JCI Sheffield Annual Dinner 2011
It only seems like a few weeks ago that JCI Sheffield was launching the plans for 2011 and looking forward to getting stuck in to a year of unknown opportunities and challenges. But I am sure you will know the feeling when I say that it seems as though we have blinked and found ourselves preparing for the 84th JCI Sheffield Annual Dinner on Friday 7th October 2011 at the Holiday Inn Royal Victoria, Sheffield.
I very much hope that you will be able to join us for our flagship event and help us to celebrate what has been an outstanding year for JCI Sheffield with membership growth of over 150%, a calendar of over 50 events held and some very exciting projects delivered - and there is still more to come!
To commence the evening you will be invited to a drinks reception before enjoying the delicious 3 course dinner and this year's raffle will be held in aid of my chosen charity, Cavendish Cancer Care. Of course, the current economic climate is always at the fore of our minds and for JCI Sheffield, we are committed to delivering quality and value and I am please to say that we have been able to honour the 2010 pricing for tickets for this event.
Of course, the annual dinner speakers are always key to the event and I am delighted to announce that we will be joined by inspirational speaker and extreme endurance athlete, Andy McMenemy, JCI Senator and former JCI UK National President, Joe Dilger and 2011 JCI UK National President, Allison Cowell. Setting the pace for the evening as Master of Ceremonies will be Alan Lyons from Creative Sheffield and Lyons Den.
Once the formalities of the evening have come to a close, the resident DJ will ensure that much dancing and merriment is had by all.
As you will know, this event is one of the highlights of the presidential year and I am thrilled that we have such a positive story to share with you this year. Our experience of leading this local organisation and passion for JCI is something we share and I look forward to welcoming you for an evening of celebration, fine food and excellent company.
Tickets are available at £ 35.00 per person for members and £ 45.00 per person for non members and tables of 10 are £400.00.
