JCI London to Ghana Nigeria Project 2022
JCI London to Ghana Nigeria Project 2022
Giving back to the community has always been part of JCI and here in London, we do this quite consistently. We do this either by partnering with other organizations or on our own. No matter which form it takes, the end goal is to make an impact in the lives of individuals and communities at minimum.
This year, we are embarking on the JCI London to Ghana project, a project which was first started in 2012. The last time JCI London ran this project was in 2016/17, but this time, we have included Nigeria to it as part of the countries that will be beneficiaries.
Typically, we raise funds and seek sponsorship from donor organizations in the UK and other regions. The funds raised are then used to buy various items such as books, pens, pencils and other learning materials for school children. There has also been a donation of laptops!
We are on the search for donors, sponsors and volunteers who will be willing to participate in the project to help make it a success. Currently we have a team of less than ten JCI London members who are volunteering their resources (especially time) to see the project delivery from start to finish
There is another exciting part to this project, which is a group trip to Ghana and Nigeria to make the donations in person, however, traveling is not compulsory so we still entreat interested persons to join us.
We are calling on all concerned stakeholders to get on board this exciting and impact filled project. If you have any questions or comments, please do well to send an email to the 2022 JCI London Immediate Past President, Emmanuel Lamptey using the address below:

We always welcome feedback and suggestions on what we can do to make this a real success!
