Each month we will be featuring one of our committee members and their ambitions for JCI Manchester for this year. Our first member of the month is David Hayes, Sports Director. This is the first year the JCI Manchester committee has appointed a dedicated sports director, borne largely out of the success of Tough Mudder last year and the 3 Peaks' Challenge in 2011.

David brings much ambition, vision and energy to this new role. He has developed a dedicated sport's program for the coming year, the aim of which is to achieve some fundamental objectives for JCI Manchester. These include facilitation of personal and professional developments of both JCI members and non-members through sport, including development of new skills, meeting new people and giving something back to the community.

Some of the activities David has planned for this year include planned participation in the Manchester 10k and a possible Guinness World Record attempt. We are also hoping to enter a team into this Tough Mudder, meeting to be held on Tuesday 21st May. Watch this space.
