Below are details of the speakers that will be at the JCI UK National Convention in November 2017.

Andy Wyatt, Former Red Arrows Pilot

Andy is an ex-Red Arrows Pilot & Motivational Speaker, Andy’s long standing experience as a Red Arrows pilot and representative of the British Air Force have aided immensely in the development of his role as a motivational speaker and have provided him with both stories and unparalleled insights. Before leaving the Red Arrows and graduating to flying commercial planes, Andy completed over 300 displays during his 3 years with the Team and was a member of the elite synchro pair. As a motivational speaker Andy has given insight lectures on the subject of teamwork, leadership, self-belief and the importance of planning, preparation and debriefing.

 

 

Barbara Cox, Nutrichef
Barbara Cox is a highly regarded nutritionist, health article author and businesswoman, who’ll will be sharing
her personal Entrepreneurial Journey. She became passionate about the importance of eating healthily during
a nine-year stay in Japan, a country renowned for its low levels of obesity, cancer and heart disease. On her
return to the UK, Barbara founded Nutrichef, a company that produces high quality healthy meals and delivers

Donna Hubbard, Be Dynamic Coaching
Donna Hubbard  is a mindset coach and speaker, and created Be Dynamic Coaching & Training in 2011. Soon after becoming a coach, Donna discovered that the thing that stood between her clients and their goals wasn’t a lack of capability, resource or time, but how they viewed themselves. This realisation sparked her passion for helping people, teams and businesses to create better results by elevating their mindset, in other words moving their outlook from a place of “I/we can’t” to, “I/we can”. Find Donna on Twitter at @BeDynamicLife

 

 

 

 

Emma Wilson, Emari Marketing
Emma started her career at BP, and was involved working in the global social media team. After leaving BP, Emma led a renewable energy start-up through a successful investment round & took an SME to Top 50 social media influencer in just 6 months.She now runs a successful consultancy and will be conducting an interactive integrated sales and marketing workshop and sharing her strategies for success.

 

 

Julie Bigg, Wessex Heartbeat
Julie is a Cardiac Rehab Nurse at University Hospital Southampton. She has been working in cardiac
rehabilitation/cardiology for 20 years with a particular interest in health promotion in coronary heart disease.
She was involved with the setting up of the Your Healthy Heart programme several years ago. Most of her time
is spent working in the cardiology department at Southampton General Hospital helping people who have had
heart surgery and heart attacks come to terms with what has happened to them and make healthier lifestyle

Kate Atkin, Inspirational speaker, training consultant and coach
Once a shy schoolgirl from rural Lincolnshire, Kate Atkin is now an award-winning speaker, author of The
Presentation Workout and The Confident Manager. Before starting her own learning and development
business in 2000 Kate had a successful career with Barclays Bank plc. In 2015 she completed an MSc in Applied
Positive Psychology which has brought insights into well-being, meaning and positivity. During her talk she will
provide some practical tips, tricks and techniques to give confidence a boost and help banish the imposter

Lesley Ann Raphael, Laughter Leader and Teacher.

Undaunted by many requests from childhood authority figures not to be silly and to stop laughing, it is of ironical note that she now makes a living doing just that. From a dark period in her life, she discovered laughter yoga, a system of employing laughter not as a response to humour but as a form of exercise for good health and wellbeing.  Blown away by what it did for her physical and mental recovery, she is now passionate about spreading the word through interactive laughter sessions that bring fun, enjoyment and wellbeing to others. Lesley encourages others to use laughter to calm, energise, uplift and heal.  She runs a regular laughter club, contributes articles to magazines and newspapers, and has taken part in television coverage that aired on the Lorraine breakfast show. 

 

 

 

Nigel Adkins, former Premier League Football Manager

Nigel is an English former professional footballer, physiotherapist and manager who was most recently of League One club Sheffield United. Adkins played as a goalkeeper for Tranmere Rovers and Wigan Athletic. He finished his playing career and began his successful managerial career at Welsh club Bangor City before spells at Scunthorpe United and Southampton, where he led both clubs to promotion. His tenure with the latter was noted for taking the Southampton football club from League One to the Premier League in successive seasons.

Nigel will give a one hour talk on how positivity creates success and shares his experiences on how he motivated young people within the football world to achieve their full potential. Noted for his infectious style of man management, Nigel will give delegates a unique insight of delivering results under immense pressure. There will also be a Q&A session for you to ask your questions direct.

 

Wayne Clarke, JCI Global Ambassador 

Wayne is a founding partner of the Global Growth Institute and works throughout the world designing and delivering strategic growth focused programmes. In 2012 at the New York JCI/UN Partnership Summit, he was formally recognised as a JCI Ambassador for his work in promoting the principles of JCI and the United Nations Foundation. Wayne will be talking about how we can make an impact as businesses in our community and better integrate the culture of our businesses to do so.
