All the details you will need on where to stay for the 2017 National Convention

Grand Harbour Hotel

The principal venue for the National Convention is one of Southampton’s most iconic hotels.  Situated on Southampton’s waterfront, this 4 star hotel has a stunning glass atrium along with impressive spa facilities, and is a favourite haunt of visiting celebrities when staying in the city.  The hotel will serve as the location for the main daytime elements of the National Convention programme as well as the setting for the big night of the weekend – the National Awards and Gala Dinner.  It will also serve as the base for the VIP accommodation and can be booked for general accommodation by delegates too.

We have secured a special discounted rate at the hotel of £89 for a single room and £109 for a double room (including breakfast) per room per night.  Please note that these rates are only valid/guaranteed until the start of October and that the prices stated include VAT.  Details of how to secure these special rates will be sent to you by email once you book for the Convention.

Other Hotels

With plenty of other hotels within a short walking distance of the main convention venue, delegates will be spoilt for choice for their accommodation requirements.  The National Convention team can recommend the Holiday Inn and Premier Inn (West Quay) which are both opposite the hotel.  Alternatively the Novotel, Ibis, Ibis Budget, Mercure Dolphin and Travelodge hotels are suitable alternatives – these are all within a 15 minute walk.  A number of independent B&Bs and boutique hotels are also available in the immediate area so there really is something for all budgets.

As always, delegates are encouraged to check booking websites such as, & as preferential online-only rates may be available too!
