– Heather Anson

Heather is a US qualified attorney, acts as a Specialist Consultant for Digital Law UK as well as being the Managing Director of Anson Evaluate. Through Anson Evaluate, Heather provides expert training and advice around a number of specialist topics including Data Privacy, Cyber-security and governance drafting.

Heather has written and presented on many of these issues throughout the years including editing and co-writing the GDPR Compliance Manual for Law Firms. She is currently working with Peter Wright on the second edition of the Cyber-Security Toolkit for the Law Society of England and Wales as well as a joint book project around reinventing the delivery of legal services for the 21st Century with Caroline Sheppard, lead adjudicator at the Traffic Penalty Tribunal and leading force behind one of the world’s first online adjudication service.

The unique difference in Heather’s approach to training in general and to Cyber-security specifically is to focus on accessibility and empowerment. She makes complex information easier to understand such as blockchain and smart contracts and gives individuals the tools to feel confident and capable to continue challenging themselves to learn more about difficult topics.
