The JCI UK business academy is here to help! Delivered over two days, at this academy, you will learn practical skills on how your idea can go from the drawing board to getting your first customer. Saturday will focus on business tools and ideas that will support you in either launching your own business or adding value in your job by expanding your skill set. Sunday will focus on getting your business up and running with help getting the basics sorted including a website, payment methods, social media accounts, podcasts, account tools and customer relationship management systems, as well as other really useful tools.
The weekend will be delivered by Ben Hawley and David Khanna.
Having been self employed for 10 years, Ben now works as a Start Up Business Advisor. In the last three years, he has helped over 150 businesses get up and running, covering everything from lifestyle businesses like cleaners and dog walkers, through to companies that manufacture and sell to big name stores across the world.
David is Director and a co-founder of Arolite Ltd (founded 2009). Arolite are a trusted provider of commercial catering equipment support for many well-known brands across the UK. David is also an Advisor to the Commercial Education Trust and a Freeman of the City of London.

In addition to the training, tickets include:

Please note – the ticket does NOT include accommodation and should delegates want this, they are required to arrange, book and pay this themselves for example by using www.booking.com.
To be eligible for a 100% refund, cancellations must be notified, in writing, no later than 1st May 2020. To be eligible for a 50% refund, cancellations must be notified, in writing, no later than 1st June 2020. All refunds will be subject to any administration fees being deducted. Any cancellations received after 1st June 2020 will not be eligible for a refund.
