JCI Facilitator is a two-day course that creates a unique learning experience where participants engage and influence their own learning through the exploration of progressive facilitation models. This journey begins with an interactive demonstration of core techniques required to facilitate learning in a variety of contexts. Participants will then explore best practices for effective facilitation through group exercises, and conclude with the opportunity to practice their own version of facilitation using “The Journey” presentation.

The skills and knowledge learned on this course will help delegates in their work lives, particularly those with an interest in delivering training, both within and outside of JCI.

This course was developed in recognition of helping to ensure high quality trainers in JCI & modern techniques. 

Trainers:

Head Trainer: Keira Keogh – 2020 Immediate Past National President for JCI Ireland and former appointee to the JCI Skills Development Committee.  Keira has delivered training in numerous countries and in her professional life as a behavioural consultant, specialising in home programs for children with autism focusing on communication, interaction, academics, self-management and behavioural support.

Trainer: Mark Smith – 2020 Vice President assigned to Europe and Immediate Past National President for JCI UK.  Mark has trained in several countries both JCI courses and his own courses. He runs Make Your Mark UK, a training and consultancy helping businesses and charities to grow and develop.

Trainer: Hannah Woodcock – former National Community Action Director for JCI UK and Past President for JCI Leeds, Hannah is a graduate of Facilitator course and Training Academy. She works as a copywriter and has written and delivered her own training courses.

Early bird rates – book by 1st March 2020

Regular rate – book from 1st March 2020 until 6th June 2020 8pm

In addition to the training, tickets include:

  • Tea, coffee, and other soft drinks on both days
  • Lunch on both the Saturday and Saturday

Please note – the ticket does NOT include accommodation and should delegates want this, they are required to arrange, book and pay this themselves for example by using www.booking.com.  The Holiday Inn Express Snow Hill for example is within walking distance of the venue of about 5-10 minutes.  

Cancellation policy

To be eligible for a 100% refund, cancellations must be notified, in writing, no later than 1st March 2020. To be eligible for a 50% refund, cancellations must be notified, in writing, no later than 6th June 2020. All refunds will be subject to any administration fees being deducted. Any cancellations received after 6th June 2020 will not be eligible for a refund.
