OPENING OF NOMINATIONS FOR 2025 NATIONAL BOARD ROLES

Following the announcement/notice of Annual General Meeting released, nominations for National board position for 2025 is hereby declared opened.

Interested applications are hereby welcome from every eligible member.

The applicable constitution guidance are provided below;

ARTICLE  34
DUTIES OF THE NATIONAL DIRECTORS:

The duties of the National Directors shall be:

• To carry out the duties assigned by the National President.
• To make recommendations to the National President with respect to their assigned duties.
• To attend all meetings of the National Council, and the National Board.
• To promote the purposes of the Organisation.
• To conduct themselves in a manner befitting officers of the Organisation.
• To plan and implement decisions taken at National Council.
• To make recommendations on and refer all items of special business to National Council.
• To act upon recommendations from the Regional Group Chair with regard to the day to day management of JCI UK and the administration of its projects and activities (ordinary business).
• To organise the production of a Strategic Plan for approval by National Council at appropriate times and in accordance with JCI global strategic planning.
  
  
  

ARTICLE 39
CANDIDATES FOR EXECUTIVE OFFICE:

39.1 Subject as hereinafter provided, every Individual Member is eligible for election as a National Director provided that they shall not have attained the age of 40 (or, in the case of a candidate for the position of Deputy National President, 39 years of age) before the day on which they would (if elected) assume office.

ARTICLE 40
NOMINATIONS FOR DIRECTORS ELECTED BY NATIONAL COUNCIL:

40.1 Each candidate for election or re-election as a National Director must be nominated, in writing, by two LO Presidents, such nominations to be lodged with the Administration Director four weeks prior to the date of the General Meeting, or Annual General Meeting at which the election shall take place.

40.2 Not less than 21 days before the date of the meeting at which the Elections are to take place, the Administration Director shall give notice of any Office for which insufficient candidates have been nominated.
