Communications & Marketing Roadshow
Saturday 2nd Feb, Saturday 16th Feb and Saturday 23rd March
This year, the JCI UK Communications and Marketing team are going on tour! There are three stops to make sure we hit all local regions:
JCI Belfast – 2nd Feb
JCI Southampton – 16th Feb
JCI Nottingham – 23rd March
We’ll be delivering a full day of training designed to support you in both your JCI roles, and in your day jobs. The session will cover everything from the importance of branding (and a refresher on the JCI brand!), to the basics of design, all the way up to using Paid Social and Google Ads.
Saturday 9th March to Sunday 10th March
JCI Facilitator is a two-day course that creates a unique learning experience where participants engage and influence their own learning through the exploration of progressive facilitation models. The skills and knowledge learned on this course will help delegates in their work lives, particularly those with an interest in delivering training, both within and outside of JCI. This course was developed in recognition of helping to ensure high quality trainers in JCI & modern techniques.
It is a JCI global policy that, from January 2020, any JCI member wishing to deliver an official JCI course (such as JCI Impact), will need to have already graduated from JCI Facilitator.
Public Speaking Academy
Saturday 27th April to Sunday 28th April
JCI UK is proud to present our Public Speaking Academy, back for its fourth year in 2017.
The aim of the academy is to help all delegates to take their speaking skills to the next level, no matter what the starting point. Over two days, delegates will learn about:
– Owning the stage – charisma, body language and connection with your audience
– Storytelling – communicating your message and your values
– Writing an impactful speech – structure, language and clarity
– JCI competitions – tips for debating and extempore
Friday 20th September to Sunday 22nd September
This year the highly regarded LEAP academy will run from the evening of Friday 21st September to the afternoon of Sunday 23rd September.
Now in its seventh year, the programme will give the opportunity for aspiring leaders to become better leaders, through the high quality training delivered, and the chance to reflect on how personality styles impact on so much of what we do, and how we interact with others.
Personal development is one of the core areas of opportunity offered within JCI and we believe in developing the leadership skills of our members, so they have the confidence and authority to make a real difference in their business, their community and their personal life.
Saturday 29th June to Sunday 30th June
Delivered over two days, at this academy you will learn practical skills on how your idea can go from the drawing board to getting your first customer. Saturday will focus on business tools and ideas that will support you in either launching your own business or adding value in your job by expanding your skill set. Sunday will focus on getting your business up and running with help getting the basics sorted including a website, payment methods, social media accounts, podcasts, account tools and customer relationship management systems, as well as other really useful tools.
