JCI Members Wedding Donation of $600!     17/12/2009

Many thanks and our best wishes go to Julia and Mike Goodfellow-Smith from JCI Leeds who were married in September. Andrew Best cycles to Budapest!     04/06/2009

Andrew Best, the husband of Charlie, JCI UK National President has embarked on an epic cycle ride to the European Conference for the Nothing But Nets Campaign which helps fight malaria. This is a 1000 mile trip which he started on Saturday 31st May. On Tuesday he was making his way through Germany after some tough head winds. Andrew Best is aiming to raise £20,000 to the Nothing But Nets campaign. He is challenging himself by biking to two JCI conferences - 1st leg was Doncaster (North England) to Aberdeen in Scotland he arrived in Aberdeen just on time 24th April. He was supported by his wife Charlie Best, JCI UK National President all the way up to Scotland. It took him 7 days and the next leg is Doncaster to Budapest for the European Conference. JCI World President Visit - a success!     24/02/2009

The recent visit by JCI World President Jun Sup Shin in London was very successful. Thanks to JCI London Members and Senators there was a full program of events.

During the President’s visit we met with the Korean Ambassador to the UK at the Embassy in London along with the Korean Director for Climate Change.

World Congress Update     15/11/2007

The UK delegation has now returned, tired but happy from an excellent World Congress in Antalya, Turkey.

Over 3000 delegates attended the Congress representing 105 countries and a good time was had by all.

The event was held in two adjoining all-inclusive resorts and despite some very mixed weather JCI UK members took part in excellent training, sightseeing and networking with JCI members from around the globe. Read more...

Successful Twinning in Belgium!     04/04/2007

The National Boards of JCI UK, The Netherlands, Switzerland and Belgium joined together in Waregem, Belgium during the weekend of 23rd March to share best practice and talk about recruitment & membership growth of JCI. Over £1100 raised at Race Night!     04/04/2007

The recent ‘Race Night’ hosted by JCI Doncaster was attended by members, potential member and patrons earlier this week. Half of the proceeds went to the South Yorkshire Community Foundation, a charity which provides grants for small, local charities and organisations helping the community.
