Get involved locally and get to know other young professionals

When joining JCI start by going to local JCI UK events. JCI members are easy to get to know and will quickly make you feel welcome.

Meet other young active professionals when getting involved in your local chamber

You can join a team or become a project manager in your chamber. Attend JCI training, and check out when the next JCI Presenter course is on: it’s a great way to improve your presentation skills and get to know other members.

Later, you could consider becoming a local board member and begin your JCI ‘career’ by finding out more about your local JCI chamber.

The next step is Local Deputy President. You will be involved in lots of strategy, plenty of learning, and have lots of opportunities to make a difference.

Then you can be Local President. Many active JCI members say that this is the best position they have ever held, as it gives you an opportunity to make a real impact and build a strong local network.
