JCI UK's Marketing Academy returns for a successive

sixth year to Birmingham 

JCI UK Marketing Academy provides you with a packed weekend of learning, activities and experiences that will leave you 'bursting at the seams' with ideas, energy and enthusiasm for both your professional as well as your JCI career. 

The academy is open to all JCI members and you don’t have to have a background in marketing to attend.

Amongst other things you will learn about:

  • What Marketing is
  • Marketing strategies
  • Branding
  • Social Media
  • Creating Videos

We've chosen to host the event in Birmingham again this year providing a central and convenient location for everyone to attend two full days of training at an outstanding price of only £59 including materials, refreshments and lunch on both days (see payment terms on event registration/booking site).

The weekend will start on the Saturday morning at 10:00am with a full day of training finishing at approximately 5.30pm, with plenty of breaks! We aim to start early and finish early on Sunday, with graduation at 3:30pm before we all head back to our respective corners of the country.

Accommodation - Holiday Inn Express Birmingham- Snow Hill or The Royal Angus Hotel. These 2 hotels are next door to each other and about a 10 minute walk from the BPP offices. Hotel costs are not included in the Academy fee.

Terms and conditions of Registration/Booking 

IMPORTANT - When you register/book for a JCI UK event you agree to be bound by the following terms:-

At all times we endeavour to provide each course/event exactly as we describe it. We also appreciate that things can change for us as well as our members and for that reason we have some simple rules that explain where we stand in certain circumstances.


When a delegate registers/books a place they are agreeing to pay the £59 course fee. This must be done in the following ways by 12 noon on 24th February 2016.

Non-payment will lead to your booking being revoked.

  • Bank Transfer – you will be sent details on booking
  • Cheque payable to JCI UK received by the date above


When a delegate's circumstances suddenly change and prevent them from attending we will be happy to replace that delegate with another from their chamber, however, you must inform us as soon as possible.


If you provide notice in writing (email will suffice) no later than 12noon on Wednesday 24th February 2016 informing us that you wish to cancel your registration/booking we will provide you with a full refund (if applicable). Any less than this then we will not provide a refund. We will provide as much notice as possible if we need to cancel an event and if we do we will refund you the course fee in full. We will not be responsible for any expenses incurred in reaching the course venue.

Course Content

We reserve the right to make changes to the published programme of an Event (but not the overall content), for example to timings and/or speakers if one of the advertised speakers is unable to attend. In such cases, You will not be entitled to cancel.

 Course Venue

Our courses/events are held at a number of venues. We may have to change the published venue for the course/event for reasons beyond our control and in such cases, you will not be entitled to cancel unless the change in venue represents a significant disadvantage to you. You are liable for any loss or damage which you may cause to that of an external venue and agree to adhere to all housekeeping rules, procedures and policies (including policies as to behaviour and conduct) that may be in place at any venue from time to time. If you have a disability or medical condition that requires special arrangements to be made, please notify us of your requirements when making your booking.
