Meet the JCI UK National board

President: Solveig Malvik 
Solveig is responsible for leading the JCI UK national organisation and leading the 2012 national board. She represents JCI UK nationally and internationally, supports the Local Presidents in the UK and sets the national strategies and the plan of action for the year.

Immediate Past President: Allison Cowell
Allison is responsible for mentoring the national president and national board team.

International Director: Tim Metcalfe
Tim is responsible for helping JCI UK members get the most out of the international aspect of JCI. Tim promotes international JCI events to the members, coordinates travel and helps members stay informed on what is going on internationally.

Membership and Administration Director: Sarah Beckwith
Sarah's role is to ensure that JCI UK runs as efficently as possible. Sarah aims to support the organisation in continuing the 2011 trend of continued membership growth in 2012. If you have a query about membership please contact Sarah.

Communications Director: Claire Evans
Claire’s area of responsibility includes JCI member publications, branding and the delivery of the marketing academy, amongst other things. If you have any marketing queries Claire is always happy to help!

Communications Director: Kate Senter
Kate’s area of responsibility includes national PR and media and supporting local chambers with developing their PR and media campaigns as well as developing a national social media strategy, amongst other things.

Finance Director: This role is vacant
Until JCI UK has a new Finance director Alison Cowell will continue the work with day to day finances. It involves financial planning, long term planing and also managing membership benefits, senate bursaries and grants. If you are interested in this role please contact Solveig

Personal Development Director: Emma Eastwood
Emma is responisble for organising offical JCI courses and ensuring that members have access to these courses throughout the year. In addition, she is developing a network of graduates from JCI Trainer to support them in developing and delivering training within the organisation.

Website Manager: Soraya Bowen
Soraya is the point of contact for any web related issues for JCI UK. Soraya also work on social media to make sure JCI UK makes an impact.

Regional Group Chair - Yorkshire: Steven Vandevelde
Steven's responsibilities include mentoring/coaching local Presidents in the Yorkshire Region, chairing and co-ordinating Regional activities, supporting Regional and National Events, and representing the Region and chambers at National Board. In addition, Steven is working with a number of new chambers in the north to increase our reach.

Regional Group Chair - South: Jen Little
Jen’s responsibilities include mentoring/coaching local Presidents in the southern Region, chairing and co-ordinating Regional activities, supporting Regional and National Events, and representing the Region and chambers at National Board. In addition, Jen will be working to bring the southern chambers closer together to share best practice and support each othering Regional and National Events, and representing the Region and chambers at National Board.
