JCI UK ACADEMIES
JCI UK is extremely proud of its suite of academies - full weekend events designed to equip members with specific skills to help them be better members, leaders and active citizens.
As with all JCI events, these courses are interactive, intense and impactful. Participants learn in a safe and supportive environment and leave buzzing with ideas and inspiration to take back to their local chambers, personal and professional lives.
As such a broad organisation with incredibly diverse opportunities, JCI is not always easy to explain to non-members. Started in 2011, the JCI UK Marketing Academy helps local presidents, marketing directors and members to successfully market JCI in their local communities and beyond. Topics covered include:
- The JCI brand
- Press and PR
- Social media and digital marketing
- Creating a marketing plan

Public Speaking Academy
The aim of the academy is to help participants, whatever their previous experience of public speaking, to take their skills to the next level.
Themes include using your voice, owning the stage, writing an impactful speech and how to succeed in JCI competitions.
Participants get plenty of opportunity to practice throughout the weekend, receiving constructive feedback from trainers and other delegates, building up to delivering a speech on Sunday afternoon.

Our flagship leadership academy was founded in 2012 with the aim "to equip young people with the skills they need to provide development opportunities to create positive change".
It is a three day journey of inspiration and skills development for aspiring leaders. Through seminars, group work and interactive training sessions, participants learn about themselves, working with others and leadership styles, opportunities and challenges.
Every year the feedback has been phenomenal and the track record of graduates going on to take local, national and international leadership roles speaks for itself.
